In January 2018 Dr. Steve Maness began the "Institute for Spiritual Forensics," a Biblical Counseling ministry @ Woodfield Park Baptist Church. Steve will be offering a wide array of counseling opportunities ranging from family, abuse, marital and pre-marital, crisis and suicide prevention, bereavement and grief, anger and personality distortions, sexual and gender disorders, cults and demonic activity, and sin and life issues. The centerpiece of Steve's ministry will be "Broken Together," aimed at helping men who have gone through a divorce they did not want.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science from Stockton College, NJ and earned his Masters of Divinity from Seton Hall University, NJ. He also holds a Masters of Divinity in Theology from Andersonville Baptist Seminary, GA; a Doctor of Divinity in Demonolgy and Occult Studies from St. James Seminary, NY; and is a graduate in Biblical Theology from the Liberty University School of Ministry.
Steve is a member in good standing of the American Society of Christian Therapists and the International Association of Christian Counseling Professionals.
Steve has served as a counselor, pastor and chaplain. He is the founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Spiritual Forensics. As Steve says, "You don't have to have an extreme problem to seek counseling. Early intervention before a problem becomes acute is a big factor in a successful outcome. You should never feel like you cannot ask for help."
